Friendship

Yes!!!!! I have completed my quilt of friendship.  (click)

It was so fun to make. I will definitely make a strippy quilt again. It's easy to sew with a great result.
Don't you think a quilt like this in solids would be great? (I have a lot of solids in my stash)
But first I have another quilt top waiting to be quilted.  And this quilt is ready for use. The weather is grey and it is getting colder outside.

It is so gorgeous! I admired it on IG earlier and then had to come here to see if you had more pictures. At some point I want a make a throw for our living room and now I think I'd like to do a strip one. Your quilting (and everything you make) is so inspiring.

Lucy, you are so inspiring. Your quilts have a simple elegance, beautiful. This needs to be on my list right after the Drunkard's Path!

Lucy, how wide did you cut the original strips? I notice they are different widths when you sewed them together into strips. Do you mind if I make this quilt for myself? Just love your work. Thank you for sharing your photos.

Very cozy quilt, Lucy. I like the section of strips that go in a different direction (bottom left). Pretty as always. :)

Love, love this quilt! Love everything about it, the story behind it, the strips (scrap quilts are hands down my fav quilts anyway), the fabrics, just everything! Congratulations on a lovely finish!

Groetjes Liliane

You have done such a beautifully wonderful and fabulous job! :) I was so honored to exchange strips with you and honestly can't wait until I get to work on my version. Just need to knock down a few more WIPs...
Excellent job my friend!

This quilt is beautiful! In the photo of it lying on the chair, the stripes look sort of like the spines of the books on the shelves nearby! Very lovely.
