Amsterdam by boat

A few days ago we went  for the first time by our boat to Amsterdam. It took us 2 hours sailing from our home port. Which was very pleasant with this beautiful weather.

I can tell you that this tour was so  fun, and I liked it a lot. Take a look yourself. I think the following pictures don't need words.

After a nice tour we went home again.

They are exhausted :-)

And my knitting work....... (socks, a project which I always take with me on the boat)... didn't came out of this pocket. Maybe next time.

Shetland full Hansel Hap

When I'm not quilting I am knitting.

A little while ago I bought a Crafty class by Gudrun Johnston.  She teaches how to knit an original Shetland Hap Shawl.  I love to follow Gudrun's lessons. They are so clear and helpful!

I'm knitting the full Hap with Jamieson's Spindrift. At this moment I'm knitting the edge. I hope to show you my finish soon.

And here is my latest find: A vintage cross-stitch table runner.  I wish I would know the woman who made it.
She was very talented with her needle and thread.
